Jesus is Hope for the Hopeless!
Thank you for joining today as we seek God’s wisdom together. Let us begin with prayer.
“Lord Jesus, I ask that you search our hearts and see if there be anything wicked in them. We ask that your Holy Spirit show us what you are saying to us today. I ask that the words on this page would jump out to us as you speak to our hearts and minds truth and life. In Jesus name, Amen.”
Romans 1:32 (NASB).
“And although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.”
What the Word is Saying
I know I already covered this verse not too long ago but, something came across my twitter timeline today and I really felt the Holy Spirit encouraging me to address it again. Here is the tweet I will leave the identity of the tweeter out for his protection. Though it only adds to the ridiculousness of the situation and militancy of the “Woke” agenda:
“My daughter, about two years ago, was using a chest binder. We didn't know about it. She was using a male name at school; we didn't know about it. When she began cutting and hiding out in her room more, we were concerned. When we finally confronted her, she was on the edge of taking her life. A lot changed at this point. We sent her to a mental health facility for a week and have been "in her business" for the past 2 years. I still have my daughter. Not a dead one, and not another 'son'. This entire ideology is 99.9% indoctrination of vulnerable children, especially girls. My daughter, while still not completely clear of “wokism” because of school, is healthy and saved from that garbage. I guarantee if I was one of those parents that enabled this behavior, I would not have a healthy daughter; I would have a mentally damaged "son", or a dead daughter. It is our job, our responsibility, to save our children. Parents need to grow up and wise up.”
The woke agenda is an afront to a Holy God. In their sin they have become blind to the truth and the damage they are causing. Young children are not struggling with gender issues. They don’t need to be set “free” to be anything they think the society is telling them they have to be. They need boundaries and need to know they are loved just the way God made them to be:
“Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.” 27So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them (Gen. 1: 26-27).”
We are created the way God intended us to be. Our lives must reflect that intention. To do anything outside of that framework is sin.
“And the LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man and brought her to the man. 23Then the man said, “At last this is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called ‘woman,’ Because she was taken out of man.” 24For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25And the man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed (Gen. 2: 23-24).”
We are made for each other. One man and one woman. No other relationship is acceptable. To live outside the intended framework of relationships is sin. Sin is the reason that all people in the lifestyle or the woke community are hurting. They are unhappy, hurting, scared, lonely, and feel isolated. This is precisely how most adolescents feel in general.
They are struggling to find their identity and their place in life. Therefore, they will often do what they feel others “think is cool” or “progressive”. The problem as it pertains to the woke community is that adolescents are not yet able to make good choices. We don’t let young children drink, do drugs, use tobacco, drive a car, get married, carry a gun, and well anything that might be considered a choice they would be ill prepared to know the lasting consequences of their actions. We don’t even let them call themselves in to school sick until they are 18 years old. However, when it comes to identity; the “woke” people of the world want us to give them “carte blanche.” Which begs the question why?
Romans 1:32 gives us the answer: “and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.” These people have chosen a life of sin. Which is no different than any other sin. Although, it is a violation of God’s plan it is not a civil crime.
However, the ideology for children is still harmful. Children are most vulnerable in this period of their lives, and we need to protect them. The enemy is aware of that, and it is precisely why he is attacking them when they are susceptible to false doctrines and lies. For the LGBTQ…. community it is for the purpose of making their lives of sin normal for everyone. They are not simply satisfied with accepting their behavior they applaud those who participate as well. Dare I say they are militant in forcing everyone else into accepting it as well.
“For this reason, God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, 27and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper (Romans 1:26-28).”
We do not allow murderers to teach children that violence; even killing, is ok if the child deems it appropriate. We do not allow drug addicts or drunkards to teach children that using these things will free them of the constraints that the “world” has placed on them. Lastly, we do not allow sex workers to teach children that selling their bodies is a freedom they need to have.
Nevertheless, we have allowed the “LGBTQ…community” to indoctrinate our children with lies. We have let our fear of being uncool in our children’s eyes to let them press false doctrines into their minds. We are called to protect our children and I know this is your goal. Believe me when I say this is only the beginning. Soon there will be pedophiles clamoring for allowing children to sleep with adults if they so “choose” to. Any number of things that are unacceptable today will be acceptable tomorrow unless we take a stand.
If you are a member of the LBGTQ…community I implore you to repent. It is not too late to turn from your sin. No matter what you have done to your body and with others, it can be forgiven. Jesus died for you just as He died for me. He is as close as asking for help. He knows you; He formed you in your mother’s womb and you were fearfully and wonderfully made. He loves you and is waiting for you to turn to Him. If you are a young person and you are being lied to about what is real. No that you were made the gender you were formed into for a reason. God has a plan for you. One for your benefit and not for destruction.
I cannot promise that you will not sometimes still feel lonely or insecure, but I can promise that He is right there by your side holding you in your hurt. He longs to listen to your fears, your anger, and your hopelessness. He can do something about it, and you will be forever changed. Maybe you are a parent and you have not been diligent in ensuring the safety of your child. Maybe you have tried to protect them but have failed under your own power. I Ask you to seek forgiveness and then place your child in the lap of Jesus. He is a miracle worker and chain breaker and can do much more to fix the situation than you can. What everyone needs is Jesus and I pray that you will seek Him now.
Pray these words with me, right now, out loud: “Jesus, I confess that you are Lord of all, I believe that you came to this earth and lived a sinless life, I believe that you suffered and were put to death on a cross, I believe they took your lifeless body and put it in a tomb, and three days later you rose from the dead. I confess to you that I am a sinner and ask you to forgive me. I ask you to send me your Holy Spirit right now to give me the power to overcome the sin in my life and lead me into all truth.
If you prayed that prayer, I urge you to contact us here so that we might come beside you and hold you up in prayer as you begin your journey with Jesus. I assure you that we have all been where you are. We may have committed different sins, but we are just as guilty, nonetheless. We all needed forgiveness and someone else supported us as we began our Journey with Him.

I pray that God will send His Holy Spirit into our lives anew and fill us again with His love and His purpose for us. So that we can fulfill the mission He left us in bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.
